Former Cabinet Secretary for Devolution and current Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru has been invited to speak on accountable governance by the Royal Institute of International Affairs at Chatham House, London.
The event which is set to be held on July 4 2018, will see the governor discuss her perspectives on the successes and challenges of implementing devolution.
I bet that the last election to have ever been won on facts only were prior to John F. Kennedy entry into politics, that’s to say, 1954.
John F. Kennedy or J.F.K, the former US President was and still is a darling of the people, not only in USA but in various pockets spread all over the world. Most of us would never know why but, the reason for our darlingship is far deeper.
Economic hit men {EHMs) are highly paid professionals who cheat countries around the globe out of trillions of dollars. They funnel money from the World Bank, the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), and other foreign “aid” organizations into the coffers of huge corporations and the pockets of a few wealthy families who control the planet’s natural resources.
The National Super Alliance (NASA) coalition has announced plans to swear-in Raila Odinga at the end of this month. They claim that this is owing to Raila Odinga having won the August 8th, 2017 election as shown in the Elections Results Transmission Servers.
After the decision by Justice David Kenani Maraga declaring the presidential election invalid, null and void, people in most parts of Kenya celebrated and in some places there were pictures of police in uniform celebrating together with the common man.
Without a doubt the two main families have run our political scene like a fidget Spinner. One has ruled over us in the highest office the other just under it, both twice.
Jubilee were in power for five years while Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto were at the helm.
The two guys were brought together by the need to survive the International Criminal Court (ICC) charges.
They managed well and now five years after taking power in a shambolic elections; where Kenyans, led by Right Honorable Raila Odinga chose peace instead of protesting the dishonest elections.[wp_ad_camp_2]
There were four different overall registers that were used and in some places voter turnout was more than 100%.
How about that? See AFRICOG assessment: “The use of multiple lists resulted in a number of problems, including registered voters whowere unable to vote because their details did not appear on any list, unregistered individuals
permitted to vote and turnout exceeding 100 percent”-AfriCOG, 2014: 11-14).
It is 2017, and we’ve had another election and as it is expected; the duo (Uhuru and Ruto) with the help of the corrupt Ezra Chiloba and the international powers, have carried out another massive fraud on the Kenyan people.
The Right Honorable Odinga Said, of the elections; ‘The fraud Jubilee has perpetuated on Kenyans surpasses any level of voter theft in our country’s history.
This time we caught them’.
In 2013, Issack Hassan oversaw a fraudulent election, this is public knowledge especially to those who care to read analysis from Uraia, AFRICOG, Society for International Development

But there are a couple of reasons why this chaps are hell-bent on staying in power even though the results by IEBC were clearly rigged.
I meant the IEBC was and is still not sincere. IEBC was
increasingly seen as partisan agency, favoring Jubillee side of government.
The killing of Chris Msando, the man charged with the fool-proof IT systems for elections, dented the already low
credibility of the IEBC.
We are told that Jubilee hired the services of a ruthless PR firm that goes by the name Cambridge Analytica, to do their bidding with Kenyans.
In case you haven’t noticed, when you search anything online on google, the first item that comes up is a website dedicated to show Raila as an
evil man.
Which is not the case. As @KinyanBoy says, the Cambridge Analytica this time targeted the International Community, they made them fear that this country would disintegrate if they didn’t support UhuRuto. In short
they ‘arm-twisted’ the western countries to be party to the fraud that Jubilee has already
committed.
However, any normal thinking Kenyan can reflect back and see that one of the most peace loving Kenyan leader is Raila Odinga.
Dig this. Now, Uhuru and Ruto wouldn’t wanna lose this elections for the following reasons, the reason are given in no particular order of importance: —
Reasons 1: Corruption: Raila is a no- nonsense guy. He has promised to deal with corruption, and this was surely going to pass. Most of the people in Jubilee have been adversely mentioned
in scandal and truth be told. If Raila took power, they’d be investigated and charged; and if found guilty, jailed.
Now the Jubilee thieves fear jail, lose of assets and money. Wouldn’t accept.
Reason 2: TJRC Report: Raila has vowed to implement the report. Now the report will bring justice and peace to Kenya. However, the jubilee duo and their cronies and masters can’t tolerate
that since it will take away large swathes of land from them and put some of their friends in jail.
There are many other injustices that would’ve been corrected i.e.; issues of ghost workers, fair distribution of revenue to the counties, fair creation of jobs through industries, cut on recurrent
budget, cut in the wastage of over 600 billion shillings e.t.c.
Verdict: Due to the corruption allegations, the men behind the power of Jubilee Government wouldn’t want it to lose. Most of them have a corruption case against them and they fear the game changer; Raila Odinga who promises to bring justice to Kenya.
Finally, even though these guys might cling to power with all the evils they have done:
remember the artificial maize shortage, the looting of funds including one meant for the Mothers, children and people living with HIV/AIDS, the two times the president has lost his cool and told Turkanas and Kambas that he doesn’t need their votes, the sensitive oil revenue sharing formular
in Turkana, the lack of balance in state jobs appointments, the open disregard to the plea by
Kenyans when they ask that those involved in corruption be charged and if found guilty jailed.
Kenyans are tired and Jubilee might rule for years if their rigging is sustained, but a time will come when a people will rise and a ‘Gaddafi’ will fall.

The 2017 elections are over and there seems to be nothing we can do to change the outcome, however much protests; or the killings the police carry out.
Stop the shooting of peaceful and all protesters, instead arrest the looting ones.
Well, I voted for Raila Odinga and I feel greatly at loss that he did not win.
The elections were peaceful, but the tallying of results were not free, fair, credible, nor transparent.[wp_ad_camp_2]
an understatement of the highest order.
Time will tell if Masai’s will continue accepting to be bought off the future (lands). Time will tell if the Turkana’s will accept the obvious rigged
systems that want all the oil profits to develop other areas other than their lands, time will tell if the celebrating Kalenjins will accept a rigged poll against their son Ruto in 2022.
Time will tell if the majority who are peaceful will continue watching as their fellow men are being slaughtered
without justice.
These are the problems Kenya faces, some are outlined in the many Commission reports i.e. Ndung’u land Report; Truth, Justice and Reconciliation Report (TJRC).
We are at a cross-road and the country will be ‘moving on’ The moving on is not quite true.
I cry for Turkana and all the Oil producing counties. The Jubilee dominated parliament will not
surely take care to give you the 10% oil revenue as you wanted.
It is foolish to think that they’ll
play against Mr. Kenyatta’s whims. You saw what the International Observers did to us, we are on our own, and the chief hawk, United States of America (USA), which always brings trouble
into oil-producing countries was well represented by John Kerry.
I cry for Ukambani especially the chiefs in Makueni. Now is the time you’ll know what hunger means. You’ll be sacked from your jobs as the president promised and in a government that is able to ‘win elections without your votes’ you can begin to imagine they’ll not be in a hurry to do development in that area.[wp_ad_camp_2]
Luos, the struggle for a better Kenya should cease. It is over. What you need to do is to rethink your stand and dream of seeing a better Kenya.
We should have an alliance of all the Luo Nyanza and some Western Kenya counties to work together to resist oppression.
By that we shall ensure that we can concentrate on our problems and find ways of solving them.
To the north eastern counties, you are on your own. The American war on terrorism is a big business and it targets you; you are on its cross-hairs. Fight for your own liberation, through your
own means, we don’t care.
To all Kenyans, the fight for credible and transparent electoral system is dead. What we need to fight for is bigger share of the revenues that should come into the counties.
When a leader becomes corrupt, he should be voted out in the next election or removed though any means,
including storming into their office.
It is clear that some are happy that
their shady candidates won even as others presented a clear indication that the elections were rigged.
Take heart, it is not about about Raila Odinga, but about the credibility of future elections.
I foresee a different Kenya in the future even without Raila Odinga. Because, if the protests continue for far too long it’ll no longer be protests, you will soon hear the calls for secession and then you shall remember that I told you that it’ll no longer be business as usual.
I pray that I don’t see Kenyans carrying guns during their protests in future. I don’t wish to see that day.
