NASA Co-Principal and ANC leader Wycliffe Musalia Mudavadi yesterday led a delegation to COTU Secretary General Francis Atwoli’s rural home at Khwisero in Kakamega County where they had a meeting that lasted to close five hours.

Mudavadi is said to have led the delegation that included some ANC top leadership to what is believed to be a mission to ask Atwoli for forgiveness after he together with other Co-principles Moses Wetangula of Ford-Kenya and Kalonzo Musyoka of Wiper failed to accompany Raila Odinga to Uhuru park for the swearing in ceremony.

This comes a few days after Atwoli publicly asked the Luhya community to forgive him for having endorsed Mudavadi as their spokesman after he was bitterly heard referring to him as a big coward saying he really regretted to have made the choice.

This state of affairs has left the community guessing as to what could be Mudavadi’s next move with rumours filling the air that he had been compromised by Jubilee not to attend the swearing in ceremony thus being promised goodies including positions in government.

However Senator Moses Wetangula has rubbished the move terming Atwoli as a turncoat who was just out to confuse the Luhya nation with his gimmicks.
