The Mount Kenya University has closed its Thika campus indefinitely.
In a later dated 9th October 2017 and signed by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Stanley Waudo said and I quote, “Following consultations and assessment of the current situation, the University Senate has resolved to suspend learning and operations indefinitely at the Cumpus”, end of quotes.
The letter went on to say that all students were advised to vacate the premises by midday today. Efforts to reach the VC for comments were futile as his mobile phone went unanswered.
