Blow To Otuoma As Witnesses Threaten To Withdraw From Petition Challenging Governor Ojaamong

Hardly a week after a voter moved to court to petition the Busia gubernatorial results that saw governor Sospeter Ojaamong declared the winner twelve witnesses have now threatened to pull out.

The witnesses who spoke to Angaza News in Busia town early today said that they are not ready to be used by individuals who were only out to seek personal gains.

The witnesses who spoke on condition of anonymity to avoid victimization said that they had lost the confidence they hard in Otuoma after he dumped from NASA to join Jubilee.

They also accused the petitioner Mr. Peter Odima for misleading Otuoma saying that after falling out with Ojaamong and having stayed in the cold for so long he was looking for ways on how to survive.

“Odima cannot be trusted by anyone not even Jubilee itself”, they said adding that no one Will appear in court to testify against the duly elected governor.

When asked how their names appeared on the petition, they were quick to say that some were asked to append the signatures in a bar while some signatures were fake.
